Composer's Comment

Oh wow wow wow, turn down the reverb! When I said I often would solve problems with compositions sounding "empty" by turning up the reverb and copy+pasting the melody line onto more instruments, I wasn't kidding. I'm really fond of the intro and the melody once it kicks in (after the stale section right after the intro), but the execution here is far from perfect. Out of all my melodies, I would really like to use this one in a new composition, reusing the good parts.

The drum beats here are actually taken from one of the rhythms on the keyboard I used at the time, with the orchestral drums added on top of that. Funnily enough, the official Reshiram/Zekrom theme from Nintendo also uses orchestral drums in a somewhat similar manner. I can predict them, sometimes :P
