The Mountain Village

A peaceful, happy place up in the mountains, with chilling winds and that fresh mountain air.

Composer's Comment

The Mountain Village has some of my favourite instruments, my favourite harmonies/scales, one of my favourite build-ups and also my favourite ending. Although I'll admit the bridge is a bit cringe-worthy (that sax is playing way outside its range) and the reverb is still too high. I guess you can also hear my love of panning effects in this one.

I'm honestly a bit surprised by the publishing date on this one. If it hadn't been for the instruments not sounding so real, I could have signed this off now. It's not weird to be fan of your own music, right?
